Privacy Policy

1. Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

1. “Personal Data” means any information that, directly or indirectly, identifies or can identify an individual, such as, for example, name, tax identification number (NIF), date of birth, IP address, among others;

2. “Sensitive Personal Data” means any information that reveals, concerning an individual, racial or ethnic origin, religious belief, political opinion, membership in a union or organization of a religious, philosophical, or political nature, data concerning health or sexual life, genetic or biometric data;

3. “Personal Data Processing” means any operation performed on Personal Data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, elimination or destruction. Any other operation provided for under applicable legislation is also considered Personal Data Processing;

4. “Data Protection Laws” means all legal provisions regulating the Processing of Personal Data, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, applicable in Portugal, and Law No. 58/2019, which ensures the execution, within the national legal order, of the GDPR.

 We collect and use Personal Data to manage your relationship with us and better serve you when you are purchasing products and/or services in the Store, personalizing and improving your experience. Examples of how we use the data include:

3. Legal Bases for Processing

We process your Personal Data based on the following legal bases as defined by the GDPR: 

1. Consent: When you have given clear consent for us to process your Personal Data for a specific purpose.

2. Performance of a Contract: Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, such as fulfilling your orders and providing services.

3. Legal Obligation: Processing is necessary for us to comply with the law, such as tax and accounting requirements.

4. Legitimate Interests: Processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, such as improving our services, marketing, and preventing fraud, provided that these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

3. Non-Providing of Personal Data

1. You are not obliged to share the Personal Data we request; however, if you choose not to share them, in some cases, we may not be able to provide you with full access to the Store, certain specialized features, or be able to provide the necessary assistance or enable the delivery of the product or provision of the service you have contracted.

4. Collected Data

1. The general public may browse the Store without the need for any registration and submission of Personal Data. However, some of the Store's functionalities may depend on registration and submission of Personal Data, such as completing a purchase/service contract and/or enabling the delivery of the product/provision of the service by us.

2. When contacting the Store, we may collect:

1. Contact Data. First name, last name, phone number, city, district, and email address; and

2. Information you send. Information you send via the form (questions, complaints, suggestions, criticisms, compliments, etc.).

3. During general navigation on the Store, we may collect:

2. Preferences. Information about your preferences and interests regarding products/services (when you tell us what they are or when we deduce them from what we know about you);

4. Anonymous or Aggregated Data. Anonymous responses to surveys or anonymous and aggregated information about how the Store is used. During our operations, in certain cases, we apply a process of de-identification or pseudonymization to your data so that it is reasonably unlikely that we can identify you through the use of such data with available technology; and

5. Other Information We May Collect. Other information that does not specifically reveal your identity or is not directly related to an individual, such as browser and device information; Store usage data; and information collected through cookies, pixel tags, and other technologies.

4. We do not collect Sensitive Personal Data.

5. Sharing of Personal Data with Third Parties

1. We may share your Personal Data:

1. With partner companies that you select or choose to send your data, questions, inquiries, etc., as well as with service providers or partners to manage or support certain aspects of our business operations on our behalf. These service providers or partners may be located in the European Union or other global locations, including servers for staging and production, and providers of data hosting and storage services, fraud management, customer support, sales on our behalf, order fulfillment, content personalization, advertising and marketing activities (including digital and personalized advertising), and IT services, for example;

6. International Data Transfers

1. Personal Data and information of other kinds collected by us may be transferred or accessed by entities belonging to the corporate group of partner companies worldwide in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We ensure that such transfers comply with the legal obligations established by the GDPR and Law No. 58/2019.

2. Binding Corporate Rules (BCRs): For intra-group transfers, we adhere to BCRs that have been approved by a relevant data protection authority.

3. Decisions of Adequacy: We transfer data to countries that the European Commission has recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection.
